Fountainscapes

A fountainscape is a bubbling urn, basalt column, or millstone set over a hidden underground reservoir. There is no open water. It suits courtyards, entryways, patios, and small gardens, and it is the simplest way to bring the sound of moving water to a property.

Pondless waterfalls

A pondless waterfall is a cascade and stream that recirculates into a gravel-filled basin hidden below grade. You get the sound and movement of a mountain stream with no standing water, no fish to care for, and very little maintenance. It is a good fit for families with young children, for dog owners, and for second-home owners who are away for stretches.
